Given that deception/false teaching is so prevalent on the airwaves and abroad, with time & eternal consequences, CSM recommends the ministries noted below. Disclaimer: CSM doesn’t necessarily agree with all statements and opinions, therefore exercise discernment (Acts 17:11, I Thessalonians 5:21, I Timothy 4:16, II Timothy 2:15, I John 4:1 et al.). Note: use extreme caution with KCBC 770 AM for there is much false teaching and advertisements on their airwaves. In addition, use caution with KFAX 1100 AM as they continue to have many false teachers advertised (promoted) on commercials, as well as on some of their regular programming.
In CSM opinion the Bible versions listed below are the most accurate to the majority copies of original Hebrew, Aramaic, & Greek manuscripts. Understanding of course, the NIV is a dynamic equivalent translation, and the other versions listed being formal equivalent translations: King James Version (KJV), New King James Version (NKJV), New American Standard Bible (NASB), New International Version (NIV). These four versions are the Word of God, and trust worthy. CSM suggests having all four versions to compare, and one favorite of these four. Obviously there is not enough space to comment on all the textual variants concerning the manuscript evidence, nor the many other Bible versions available. The versions listed above are the most recommended by creditable Biblical Hebrew and Greek scholars, and Bible teachers alike. CSM recommends the NKJV/NASB as the top choices.
